Literature and visual arts connect in this distinctive book club. Join Brampton Library and PAMA for a discussion of the book Rage the Night by Donna Morrissey. Rage the Night is a gripping novel that explores themes of loss, redemption, and the resilience of the human spirit in the harsh landscape of Newfoundland. The book discussion will be paired with a tour of David Blackwood: Ode to Newfoundland which showcases a recent acquisition of works by nationally acclaimed artist David Blackwood, including the dark and moody depictions of the seafaring communities of Newfoundland’s yesteryear with which Blackwood was closely familiar.
