About the artist
: Tatjana Reithofer is a multidisciplinary artist and arts instructor based in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. Her practice is rooted in exploring cultural heritage, generational stories, and the space between appropriation and appreciation.

In recent years, she has been drawn to themes of transformation, metamorphosis, and reverence for the “other within.” Working playfully with textiles, needlework, papier-mâché, found objects, and printmaking, Tatjana creates pieces that weave together personal and collective narratives.

Alongside her own practice, she teaches art programs for children and individuals with disabilities, celebrating their creativity through exhibitions and events. She graduated from OCAD University’s Sculpture and Installation program in 2020.
