Peel Remembers: The Second World War

Peel Remembers: The Second World War

Thursday, November 6, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, November 8, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

In commemoration of Remembrance Day, join Regional archivists in this drop-in event to remember the sacrifices of Peel residents. This year’s event will focus on the Second World War in honour of the 80th anniversary of the end of the conflict. See original archival records that reveal life on the home front, life overseas, and war propaganda. We will also highlight women’s experiences in the war and show footage of the AVRO Lancaster Bomber.

Admission to the Archives is free. Access to PAMA’s Museum and Art Gallery is also available with purchase of admission.
