PAMA is excited to welcome a performance by Maple Arts, including members of the Canadian Arabic Orchestra, for this musical ensemble performance - part of this year's Festival of Arabic Music and Arts.  

A Journey to the Middle East, directed by Manar Naeem and Lamees Audeh, takes you on a spectacular journey across different regions in the Middle East. Experience the variously rich musical styles, maqmas and rhythms of Syria, Lebanon, Palestinian, Tunisia, Iraq, Turkey and Azerbaijan in an instrumental performance like no other. 

Pre-Registration required. Public: $20 + HST, Members $17.00 + HST. Registration includes museum admission and access to exhibitions. 

About the Orchestra: The Canadian Arabic Orchestra - Maple Arts ™ is a Mississauga-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to connecting people through music, celebrating the diversity of Canada’s cultural mosaic with classical Arabic music from all corners of the Arab world and presented at times with a fusion of classical western and other music.
