Latin American Heritage Month Program

Celebrate Latin American Heritage Month at PAMA, in partnership with the Hispanic Canadian Arts and Cultural Association (HCACA). Move to the rhythm of Bolero, Cha-Cha, Salsa and more with band Latintrain, then enjoy a creative exploration culture and identity through the “Hands & Roots” art workshop led by Carla Gonzalez-Casanova. 

Included with General Admission. Art workshop requires pre-registration as space is limited. 

Schedule:
          - “Hands & Roots” Art Workshop Session A (90 minutes) – 11:00 a.m.
          - “Hands & Roots” Art Workshop Session B (90 minutes) – 1:00 p.m. 
          - Musical Performance by Latintrain Band – 3:00 p.m.
 
About HCACA: HCACA is a non-profit charitable organization that supports the development of local artists, including musicians, visual artists, performers and others interested in Latin American and Hispanic music and culture. 

About Carla: Carla Gonzalez Casanova is a Mississauga-based multidisciplinary artist whose creative works include painting, illustration, singing and songwriting, and graphic design. Carla earned her Fine Arts Diploma from Toronto School of Arts in 1997 and is an instructor at Visual Arts Mississauga.
