PAMA is excited to open its doors to the community during Doors Open 2024. Explore how the collection of heritage buildings that make up PAMA now serve as community and cultural space – part of this year’s theme of “Adaptive Reuse.” After more than a century and a half in the heart of Brampton, our historic Courthouse and Jail are given new purpose. Visitors from across Peel Region come to PAMA to unearth archival records, encounter objects and stories from the past, engage with diverse artwork, enjoy cultural programs and mark their own milestones – from birthday bashes to wedding celebrations. Discover efforts to make this historic space relevant to today’s community.
