Summer Art Workshop Series: Watercolour Landscape

Summer Art Workshop Series: Watercolour Landscape

August 14, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Reflect on your connection to nature during a landscape watercolour painting session led by Brampton-based artist Angelica Candido. Inspired by Candido’s vibrant paintings — exploring the connection between humanity, the cycle of life, and dreams — create your own colourful scene that reflects the inspiration and wonder you receive from the natural world.

Pair this watercolour workshop with a visit the exhibition Jude Griebel, Illuminated Collapse which, through a series of Griebel’s miniature, sculptural scenes, asks us to think about how our daily lives connect to these larger issues and the future of our planet.

Designed for all adults, registration required. General: $18.00 + HST, PAMA Member $15.30 + HST

About the Artist: Angelica Candido is a multidisciplinary artist and poet who explores the intersections of science, emotion, and the unseen forces that connect us. Blending mixed media, painting, and poetry, her practice is intuitive and reflective, often rooted in personal storytelling. Her book, Interconnectedness, is a collection of art and poetry that navigates grief, healing, and transformation. Candido creates spaces for contemplation and connection, using art as a bridge between emotion, creativity, and shared experience. Candido was featured in Clark Centre for the Arts, Dignam Gallery, Ada Slaight Gallery, and was a finalist in the 100 Kellogg Art Competition. She received grants and support from Ontario Arts Council, JVS Toronto, The City of Brampton, and the Brampton Entrepreneurship Center. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Drawing and Painting from OCAD University, and a certificate for Art and Design Foundation at George Brown College.
