Yoga Flow and Verse

Yoga Flow and Verse

March 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

In celebration of World Poetry Day, join PAMA, yoga instructor Tere Lopez, and Mississauga Poet Laureate Andrea Josic for a unique experience that weaves together movement and words. This mindful session blends a gentle yoga flow with the power of poetry as we gain inspiration from the Art Gallery exhibition Fantastic Landscapes: Beyond the Ordinary.

We will start the class with a poetry reading, moving into meditation and 45 minutes of yoga movement, finishing with gratitude and a poetry circle over a cup of tea. You are invited to bring one short poem to read during the circle. It can be from a favourite poet or your own.

Registration information:

• Registration required. Public: $17 +HST (includes PAMA admission). Members: $14.45 +HST

• Feel free to come early to explore Fantastic Landscapes: Beyond the Ordinary in the Art Gallery

• We ask that each participant brings a yoga mat and a block (if needed)

• No prior yoga experience is necessary
