About the Artist: Meegan Lim (b.1999, Brampton, Ontario) is an illustrator and multidisciplinary artist of Chinese-Malaysian descent, based in Brampton. She is known for her detailed illustrations focusing on food and cultural identity, and the vast stories existing within those intersections. Her mission is to create art that is inviting in its aesthetic, thoughtful in its research, and illuminating with its subject matter. Lim’s fairy tale inspired Apple a Day banner installation at PAMA draws attention to food insecurity in today’s economic reality of high inflation and rising costs of living.
