Pop-up Exhibit: International African Inventors

Visit PAMA and discover stories of Black innovation while you explore the pop-up International African Inventors exhibit created and hosted by the Canadian Multicultural Inventors Museum. This mobile museum features a range of African inventions including the window cleaner, the eggbeater, space shuttle retrieval and more. Then, head to our studio space to make your own mini space car!
Compliment your day at PAMA with a free screening of the the National Film Board's The Road Taken directed by Selwyn Jacob which takes viewers on a nostalgic ride through history to present the experiences of Black sleeping-car porters who worked on Canada's railways from the early 1900s through the 1960s.

The Canadian Multicultural Inventors Museum is a social innovation organization that promotes innovative thinking in young people by highlighting the achievements of innovators from diverse backgrounds. They produce traveling exhibits highlighting innovators from diverse, multicultural communities, working with the philosophy that every child deserves to see themselves in the people that inspire them.
