Halloween at the Boo-seum

Join us at the Boo-seum for a mix of mystery, messy fun and vibrant abstract art. Create a ghostly craft, join a family friendly spooky art gallery tour and see if you can guess what’s hidden in our mystery boxes… if you dare. Plus, families can register for a guided UV art workshop.

Included in admission, members are free. Surcharge for Abstract Eerie Art. 

Eerie abstract art workshop
10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. and 3 – 4 p.m.

Daylight creations will transform into glowing nighttime spectacles in this workshop. Use specialized neon paints to splash, scrape and layer spooky abstract shapes, like spider webs and monster eyes. The real magic happens at the end when we turn on UV lights to discover the supernatural masterpiece. 

Registration Information:
  • Registration required.
  • Public: $5 +HST (admission not included). Admission can be purchased on the day of the program at the front desk. Members: free. 
  • Recommended for ages 6 – 12. Adult supervision is required at all times. 
  • One creation per registration, any accompanying adult who wishes to create their own must also register as supplies are limited.? 
  • We aim to keep fees low. If cost is a barrier, we encourage you to apply to our Creative Access Fund so we can offset program fees.
